Scholarships

We realize that a high-quality Christian education requires significant sacrifice on the part of everyone, teachers and families. And we realize that not all families can afford the regular tuition. We are, however, committed to making EMS a real possibility for everyone. To that end, we are blessed to have partnered with various businesses, churches, and individuals to offer need-based scholarships to our families.  EMS also participates in the Pennsylvania Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) program.

Approximately 35% of EMS families receive need-based scholarships. In total, we award over $600,000 worth of scholarships per year. Because it is need-based, financial transparency will be required on the application. Each eligible applicant is entered in a formula that allocates the available scholarship money based on need. The board and finance committee approved a partnership with Simple Tuition Systems to provide a more thorough way of allocating needs based scholarships. In addition, consideration is given by the Scholarship Committee to families who may face a job loss or other extenuating circumstances.

Applications are completed online at app.simpletuitionsolutions.org. A $25 processing fee is paid directly to Simple Tuition Solutions.
